Digital Marketing Masterclass

Catalog facts

Platform: udemy

Instructor: Phil Ebiner

Pricing model: Paid one-time purchase; Udemy discounts steeply and often, so the listed price varies day to day

Topics: marketing, business

Where these numbers come from

Udemy's bot-blocking prevented verification of this course's current rating and enrollment, so both are omitted. Note the freshness caveat that applies doubly to marketing courses: check the course's last-updated date on Udemy itself, since ad-platform content ages faster than any other category we index.

Our rule: a rating or count appears here only when we read it on the provider's page and dated the reading. Blank means unverified, not zero. See the methodology.

Who this fits

A broad survey across channels: SEO, social, email, ads. It suits someone deciding which specialty to go deep on. Breadth is both the point and the limit, so expect orientation, not mastery, in any single channel.

Before enrolling anywhere, check the syllabus against the job or project you actually want. Course marketing describes outcomes; syllabi describe contents. The gap between the two is where refund requests come from. Current price and start dates live on the provider page below.

Skip it if

Skip it if you already know which channel you need. A broad survey is for deciding where to specialize. A specialist course, or the platform's own academy, goes deeper on the channel you have already chosen. Skip any marketing course whose last-updated date predates the current versions of the ad platforms it teaches. This category ages faster than any other we list.

The free path, compared

The free path is unusually strong in marketing. The platforms' own academies (Google Skillshop, Meta Blueprint) teach their ad products current and free, because trained buyers spend more. What the paid survey adds is the cross-channel map in one sequence. That is useful precisely once, at the deciding-where-to-focus stage.

Three questions before you enroll

  1. When was each channel module last updated, against platforms that change their ad products yearly?
  2. Do I have a small real budget to run an actual campaign? Competence comes from spend, not videos.
  3. Which single channel would I bet on today? If I can answer, I may not need the survey at all.

The general version of this checklist is in the how-to-choose guide: subscription math, reading ratings properly, refund windows. The free-certificate landscape has its own guide.
